ProQuest Acquires Rights to Alliance Scholarly Journals
Agreement adds 19 high-quality titles to ProQuest's expanding STM databases

ANN ARBOR, Mich., September 6, 2005 - ProQuest Information and Learning has been granted worldwide online and microform rights to scholarly journals from Alliance Communications Group (ACG), the companies jointly announced today. Beginning immediately, access to such important works as Strength and Conditioning Journal, Journal of Endovascular Therapy, and Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry will be available for the first time through the ProQuest database. ACG is the publishing division of Allen Press, Inc., one of the world's most respected printers of science, technology, and medical (STM) information. ACG is a unique full-service publisher with more than 65 of years experience in producing scholarly and professional publications. Access to ACG titles will be available through a variety of ProQuest® databases, including ProQuest Nursing Journals™, ProQuest Medical Library™, and ProQuest Science Journals™. The agreement between ProQuest and ACG adds 19 journals to ProQuest's STM content pool and is part of the company's ongoing program to strengthen periodical databases in this area with high-quality data.
