Question
I marked several articles, and walked away from my computer and when I tried to go back to the articles, they are gone and I had to log in. Why did this happen and what can I do to ensure my marked list is saved?
Answer

If you have a period of inactivity of 30 minutes or more, ProQuest automatically logs you out of your session. With this, items such as a marked list and search history are lost. It is best if you are going to leave the computer for a period of time is to save a copy of your marked articles/search history. To do this:

1. Go to the Marked List tab.

2. Click "My Research Summary"

3. Click on either "Download" your search summary as a web page / HTML file" or "Email" your  search summary as a web page / HTML file."

4. *If you clicked to download the file, click file -> save and save the html file to your computer.

*If you clicked to email, fill in your name and email address and you will receive the list via email.
